Happy 2020 dear trainers!
January is the month of aims and, after the holidays, we have a long period to train our Kids at best! Here there are some indications to organize lessons:
- January is similar to September because probably there will be new subscriptions and so, you’ll have to manage Kids who have been attending ECross for months and new Kids. Essential RULE: adapt the training to the new Kids but don’t reduce the intensity of the whole group
- Check the kids’ progress sheets, make the point about their athletic level and adapt the official lessons in order to compensate for possible exercises on which you have to work more.
- Include all the kids but continue keeping the rhythms high by imparting enthusiasm and improving your way of teaching. For this reason, dedicate a little bit of time to reviewing the lesson about teaching on the handbook and try to exercise yourself.
Now let’s come to the technical part. Follow the tables of prevalence and keep kids’ evaluation sheets always updated. This month, from a conditional point of view, we are going to work on one prevalence at each lesson (strength, endurance or speed), slightly increasing the load of work. We’ll also insert new coordination exercises and, as always, we’ll guarantee the balance among muscular districts.
Remember that the lessons you receive are the track to train but it’s up to you interpreting them at best: you have to adapt or modify exercises to Kids’ level also taking into consideration the tools you dispose.
Always put training at the centre!
The big difference among age groups is in the way of teaching, in the language you use and in the approach: make the lesson fun and you’ll succeed!
Please, encourage the parents to subscribe to the newsletter on website www.ecrosskids.com so that they can always be informed about the program and ECross kids news.
Download the fourth part dedicated to the food education project: there is a simple lesson for your kids (why do children have to drink only water?), which I suggest you do at the end of the month, and a food game (a game/training useful to memorize the lesson basic concepts).
The whole ECross staff wish you and your kids a happy 2020!
Staff, GIVE ME 5!!
